Tear-Away Stabilizers
Tear-away stabilizers are pieces of cloth that is applied to the back of a garment and catches the stitching as it is applied by the embroidery machine. Stabilizers help to hold the stitching in place. Though very useful in hats and heavily embroidered logos or design (mostly sweatshirts), tear-away is not very durable in polo shirts and other garments. Tear-away is literally torn away from the stitching after the embroidery process is completed so there are no loose edges on the back of your embroidered design or logo.More on Cut-Away Stabilizers
Cut-away stabilizers are heavier pieces of cloth that are applied to the back of garments in order to catch the stitching as it is applied by the embroidery machine. Stabilizers help to hold the stitching in place. Cut-away is used on garments such as polo shirts and blankets. Cut-away stabilizers are literally hand cut from the logo or design by a qualified TEES+PLUS employee, so that no loose ends are visible on the back of your garment's logo or design.Solvy
Before your logo or design is embroidered to the garment of your choice, a TEES+PLUS employee places a piece of solvy over the area being embroidered. Solvy is a plastic, film-like material that aides in the embroidery process and creates a bond so the needle properly embeds the image or logo into the garment of your choice.Due to the manual labor involved, most of our competitors do not use solvy. Here at TEES+PLUS, the dedicated and professional staff will make certain each garment being embroidered in our factory is aided with a piece of solvy.
