ELECTRONIC ART - DOCUMENT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The following information is to be used as a guideline for art file submission to the TEE'S PLUS Art Department. If you have any questions about submitting files, please call your TEE'S PLUS Salesperson at 860-445-7355

We use Apple computers with the following programs and prefer artwork to be submitted in one of these formats: Illustrator CS3 -.ai; Photoshop CS3 -.psd; Quark Xpress 4. I-.qxd

We can also accept files in the following formats: *SEE NOTE BELOW - RASTER ART* .eps .bmp* .jpg* .pct* .gif* .tif* .pdf .ps*

*Raster artwork (.bmp .psd .jpg .pct .gif .tif .ps) should be sent at a resolution of 300dpi at actual size to be used. Files submitted in these formats at lower resolution or in color formats not intended to print 4 color process need to be worked on or recreated by us to be usable. Photo images can not be recreated. **Note- Images taken from the web are generally created at 72dpi which is not acceptable for screen printing purposes

If you are providing artwork in Microsoft Word or Powerpoint, the art will need to be recreated for us to use.

Please provide a printout, preferably in color, when submitting artwork. Convert all fonts to outlines or paths in your art files whenever possible. If you can not do so, you will need to provide mac format fonts with your files. Be sure to include all original artwork used to create the file: photos, slides, scans, etc.
If possible specify all ink colors using the Pantone Matching System color chart (Pantone Solid Coated only) .

Name the files you are sending appropriately with either the customer name or design name, "smithshirt" for example. Do not use names like "tshirtart" or "mugart", files with those types of names can be easily lost.
Standard shirt imprint sizes we use are: Full Front/ Full Back -12"w x 14"h (Max Imprint size is 16"w x 20"h) Crest -3.5"w Short Sleeve -3"w x 4"h Long Sleeve -3"w x 16"h
We accept art files on Zip 100 & 250 disks, CD, DVD or by email to: artdept@teesplus.com
If you are emailing artwork, please compress the files you are sending with stuffit or winzip. Please convert fonts to paths or include fonts.
