Digital Printing

Digital Print Collage
No Minimum Quantities on Orders Digital printed garments are printed one at a time therefore they have no set-up cost and no minumum quantities!

To design your own, go to our digital product category and get started.

The Latest Technology
Digital printing is the latest technology that allows transfer of an image directly from a computer art file to the fabric. Digital printing is used when our customer wants a multicolor design on a small quantity of items. There are no screen or set-up charges for digital printing.

The quality of digital printing is far superior to the current method of printing the image onto transfer paper and then ironing it onto the shirt. Our digital printer also has a print area larger than that of the currently available transfer paper. The maximum printing area of our digital printer is 14" by 16".

Digital printing may be used on any items made of 100% cotton or 50% cotton / 50% polyester. Tee shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, towels....

Garment Colors
The best results will be achieved on a white item. Inks are somewhat translucent.
Therefore colors that cannot be used are Black, Navy, Dark Green, Purple and Red.The lighter the garment color the better the results.

Digital printing uses Blue, Red,Yellow and Black to make all colors. Therefore it is not possible to print the color white or any color lighter than the shirt color.

Like screen printing, it is not possible to print an image exactly as it appears on paper or a computer monitor. The fabric absorbs the ink making the print less brilliant. Art in the style of a watercolor or a photograph will produce the best results.
Artwork
Artwork requirements are the same as for screen printing. Photographs must be 300 dpi at the actual size being printed. Photographs with high contrast and bright colors will print the best. If images are washed out with low contrast it may be possible to enhance the saturation or the ink deposit. This will require special enhancement by our art department or the printer. Keep in mind that the digitally printed shirt will look only as good as the supplied art or photograph.
